| Spring break
comes but once a year; Havoc however, has two stops. The first
being spring break in Havasu at the London Bridge Resort. Thrown
by Primedia'a truck group which includes Truckin', Sport Truck,
Mini Truckin', 8-Lug and Diesel Power. The show, while reaching
towards 110 degrees still brought out some insane trucks and
boats. But Havoc is not just a show, its an entire weekend that
also included the 8-Lug magazine release party and an unbelievable
bikini contest featuring girls from Hooters in Anaheim and others.
The partying continued at the clubs and bars and hotels after
the clubs closed their ropes.
Taking home the top prize for best of show was Jay Martinez
of AftermatH/Jay's Auto Body in Fresno with his ressurected
'Born Bad' Silverado. The same truck that was 100% rebuilt
in less than 6 months after being totaled at last year's Havasu
show. Hannah from Hooters in Anaheim kept the judges and crowd
in awe with her 'outfit' barely staying on in the heat winning
the bikini contest.
Next stop on the Havoc tour is on the opposite end of the
country in Kentucky...chances are it will still be hot even
if the weather is not. |
